Gone for the winter

Following in the footsteps of bears and other creatures of the forest which retreat to a place of rest and quiet this time of the year, I too am going away for a while just to be still.

Thank you for taking the time to read my scribblings and sharing with me on this journey of learning, growing and living. I hope you have enjoyed this blog as much as I have enjoyed creating this little nook for expressing myself here.

Will be back again when the bears awake from winter’s hibernation! Sign up if you haven’t already to receive notification the next time I write something here.

Even in the busyness of the season, I wish you and your loved ones a time of quiet and meaningful reflection as the year comes to an end. May the New Year be a clean slate to start afresh, hope again and may it hold within its days gems of untold riches waiting to be discovered by you!

You need not do anything. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, just wait. You need not even wait, just learn to be quiet, still and solitary. And the world will freely offer itself to you unmasked. It has no choice, it will roll in esctasy at your feet.

Franz Kafka, 1883-1924 “Learn To be Quiet”
